No-Bake Coffee Chocolate Layered Dessert

Prepare the Custard Cream:
In a medium saucepan, whisk together the eggs, sugar, and corn starch until smooth.
Gradually whisk in the milk to avoid lumps.
Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, constantly stirring, until the mixture thickens and comes to a gentle boil. This should take about 3-5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in the butter, vanillin, and instant coffee until well combined and smooth. The heat will dissolve the coffee and integrate it into the mixture.
Layer the Dessert:
Choose your serving glasses or a single serving dish.
Break the cookies into smaller pieces (not too small) and create a layer at the bottom of your serving dish(es).
Pour a layer of the coffee custard over the cookies.
Grate some dark chocolate over the custard layer or melt the chocolate and drizzle it over.
Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of custard and a generous amount of grated or melted chocolate on top.
Chill and Serve:
Allow the dessert to chill in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours, or until set. This dessert is best enjoyed cold and will have a more pronounced flavor once thoroughly chilled.
Optionally, before serving, you can add a little more grated chocolate or a dusting of cocoa powder for extra flair.
