Turkish Bread (Simit) 🥨🍞

In a bowl, dissolve sugar in warm water. Add yeast and let sit for 10 minutes until frothy.
Add flour, salt, milk, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Knead until a soft dough forms.
Cover the dough and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Divide dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a rope and shape into a ring.
Dip each ring into molasses and then into sesame seeds.
Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
